Rising Star Awarded to Millie Turley
Millie Turley, Contact Centre Apprentice, LTK Consultants, Level 2 Customer Service.
This is the second time we have awarded the Rising Star Award and this year’s nominations have raised the bar, making judging increasingly difficult. This year one of those stand out candidates selected for an award was Millie Turley of LTK Consultants in Birmingham.
Working in a Call Centre environment, one of the most daunting aspects to deal with is a difficult customer. This year’s rising star Millie Turley is more than capable of taking on that challenging task.
Recruited by Intec’s Terri Gamble, Millie, 17, will complete her Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service in August at LTK Consultants. The driven and organised Millie is always looking at how she can develop herself; responding to feedback in a positive and pragmatic way and setting herself targets to improve on her already excellent performance.
Manger, Sue Oakes, is particularly pleased with her progress: ‘I have dealt with many Apprentices in my 25 year career in the contact centre environment and consider Millie to be one of the best Apprentices that I have mentored and encouraged. She is a pleasure to have in the contact centre, she is efficient and professional when dealing with our clients and makes a point of interacting with all members of the LTK team.’
An Apprenticeship has helped to boost Millie’s confidence, providing her with the skills and knowledge to be able to deal with awkward situations; ‘When starting the Apprenticeship I wasn’t confident with going live on the phones and dealing with customers, now I am able to deal with any situation in a confident and professional manner.’
Seeing Millie progress has been a rewarding experience for all those involved, when Millie first joined LTK she was quite shy, now a bright, confident young lady, Millie is more than deserving of Intec’s rising star award and certainly one to watch in the future.
