Leadership and Management (CMI)
Intec’s leadership and management Training incorporates with
the latest ideas, techniques and tools. Aligned to the Apprenticeship Standards,
we will consult with you to build a detailed understanding of your needs and
design a bespoke package that meets your organisations strategic goals.
Working
with Intec we will:
Consult: Our
expert team will listen and understand the goals you are looking to achieve in
the design and implementation of a leadership and management programme.
Design: Focusing
on your organisations culture and values we will design and agree a programme
and content which can include you own internal training that maps to the
Apprenticeship Standards.
Deliver: Programme
delivery will consider your operational environment and will use a blended
learning approach including workshops solution, micro teach, on line learning, webinars
and 1 to 1 learning.
Each year we work with over 750 Managers, Supervisors and
Team Leaders helping them develop their knowledge and skills in a range of topics
including:
- Managing projects
- Building Teams
- Managing personal development
- Leading innovation and change
- Communication of information and knowledge
- Setting objectives and providing support to team members
- Planning, allocating and monitoring work of a team
- Managing conflict and grievances
- Principles of leadership & management – decision

- Principles of business – business sectors, sales and
marketing, finance
Intec’s unique delivery model will blend a range of training
and development methods including:
1 to 1
Management Trainer: Working with individual employees to build on areas for
development delivering practical solutions and performance improvement.
Unique Training
Days: Interactive and energising workshops and webinars delivering the
underpinning knowledge leadership and management skills.
On line
learning platform: From the latest managerial theories through to the
practical application of simple management tools Intec will deliver effective
on line learning content
The Chartered
Management Institute
Through Intec’s partnership with CMI each individual learner
will also receive associated membership to CMI providing access to vast online
learning resources which give practical support to managers in their day to day
operations. Managers operating at a higher level can also attain the status of
Chartered Manager and this will deliver further benefits beyond the life of
their training including CPD with access to the latest studies on management
skills enabling them to become more effective managers.
Alongside the Team Leader Apprenticeship, Learners have the option to undertake the CMI Level 3 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership and are eligible to become CMI student membership throughout the duration of the course.
With the Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship, Learners have the option to undertake the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership and are eligible to become Chartered Manager Status on successful completion of the Apprenticeship. However, the Learner must have a minimum of 3 years Management experience to be awarded this.
