NOTICE
Intec collects and processes personal data relating to
its customers and suppliers. Intec is
committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data and to
meeting its data protection obligations.
What information
does Intec collect?
- Company contact, email address, telephone number
and postal address.
- Consultants email address and telephone number.
- Bank details (Customer and Supplier and only where
required as part of a transaction)
The organisation may collect this information in a
variety of ways. For example, data might
be collected through email, CRM and through 3rd party suppliers.
Data will be stored in our CRM and PIC’s system and
bookings folder for specific customers.
Why does Intec
process personal data?
Intec needs to process data to confirm course bookings and
send paperwork to employers and enable us to process payments with suppliers
and customers.
Intec has a legitimate interest in processing personal
data before and after the delivery of our services, processing data allows
Intec to:
- Inform prospective customers of our services who
are identified as being in a role where our services (Apprenticeships, employee
training and development) are of interest. In contacting you about our services
our interactions will always be proportionate and have minimal impact on your
privacy.
- Design and run programmes with clients.
- Make and receive payments.
We do not contact any individuals/businesses on the
Corporate Telephone Preference Service or who have previously opted out of
receiving our information.
Who has access to
data?
Your information will only be used internally with all
actions recorded on our CRM database. Your information is only accessible to
those who have permissions and is securely stored. As a prospective customer or
supplier at no point do we share your information with other organisations.
Only when you are a customer will Intec share your data
with third parties in order to obtain Consultants agreement to provide the
training.
How does Intec
protect data?
Intec takes the security of your data seriously. Intec has internal policies and controls in place
to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or
disclosed, and is not accessed except by its employees in the performance of
their duties.
For how long does
the organisation keep data?
The organisation will hold your personal data for between
twelve months and five years depending on the nature of our relationship with
you then information will be destroyed, all details remain in our CRM.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have a number of rights. You can:
- Access and obtain a copy of your data request;
- Require the organisation to change incorrect or
incomplete data;
- Require the organisation to delete or stop
processing your data, for example where the data is no longer necessary for the
purposes of processing
