Learning and Development Professionals

The training industry has many pathways, with this in mind the Learning and Development Certificate and Diplomas are designed to meet the needs of people working in the training and learning sector, as well as those who wish to develop individual training skills. They are ideal for anyone who delivers or develops learning and training programmes, or who supports learners through coaching and mentoring.

The City and Guilds Learning and Development Qualifications, delivered by Intec are work based accredited qualification which explore the principals and practices of this industry.  Based on the National Occupational Standards for Learning and Development, these qualifications will provide you with a thorough understanding of this subject, allowing you to learn about:

  • The principles and practise of Learning and Development
  • Reflecting on and improving own practice in Learning and Development
  • Facilitating Learning and Development to individuals or groups
  • Developing learning resources
  • Identifying individual learning needs

These qualification can be studied at Level 3 and Level 4 and are appropriate for those new to or those with experience in the training industry. They can be studied as either a standalone Vocational Qualification or as part of an Apprenticeship.
