The City and Guilds Apprenticeship in Retail, delivered by Intec is a work based learning programme, exploring the principals and practices of Retail. Based on the National Occupational Standards for Retail this Apprenticeship will provide your staff with a thorough understanding of this subject. Your staff will improve their skills and knowledge in many areas including:

  • Working effectively in a retail team
  • Merchandising
  • Processing payments
  • Customer service in the retail sector
  • The retail selling processes
  • Maintaining health and safety
  • Stock management
  • Retail management

The Apprenticeship can be studied at Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 and is appropriate for those new to or those with more experience in the industry. Tailored to a specific job role, it can be studied as either a standalone vocational qualification or as part of an Apprenticeship.
