North East and Yorkshire

Tom EatonDuring my first role as a Sales Executive for a medical packaging and supply distributor, I was bitten by the sales bug and have been addicted ever since to delivering the highest level of customer service.

In the roles since, I've furthered my career in Sales and found what I believe is my niche. I relish going out and about, meeting a variety of clients and Apprentices, helping to facilitate the career development pathways they want to go down.

When people ask what a typical day entails, I can honestly say that each day is completely different to the last and that's what I love about the job. I can be in Newcastle one day and then Barnsley the next. I love the different elements that make up the job, from the initial meeting with a client to signing up a second or third cohort of learners, as they always say; 'variety is the spice of life'.

Intec is a fantastic company that wants to help employers and employees better themselves through Apprenticeships, up-skilling and self-development. You would be mad to not take advantage of the services that we offer!

I am an avid reader and count Science Fiction books as my weakness, I just can't put them down. I am also a very sporty person and when not extolling the virtues of Apprenticeships, I can be found either playing rugby or in the swimming pool.

Terri Gamble
Recruitment Team Leader

There’s no question, Terri is one busy bee. As the first R Consultant to be appointed by Intec for its Apprentice Recruitment division, she has recently been promoted to Recruitment Team Leader and has had a formative influence on what is now one of Intec’s most exciting ventures in personnel training and development.

Terri, who has more than 10 years’ experience in recruitment and sales, reveals the how, whys and what’s of her immersive and fundamentally rewarding role:

“To date, I’ve recruited for some household names. From construction to recruitment, demonstrating the scope and opportunity for this service. The feedback I get from apprentices who have gone on to become fully paid, fully skilled members of the workforce is tremendous. Hard work admittedly but done correctly, as we do, it’s a win-win situation for all.”
