Recruitment (Skills First)

The recruitment industry is highly competitive with many companies offering similar services. Ensuring your staff have the skills needed to give high levels of sales and customer service will allow your business to differentiate itself and be successful.

The Skills First Qualification in Recruitment delivered by Intec is a work based accredited qualification which explores the principals and practices of recruitment. Based on the National Occupational Standards for recruitment, this qualification will provide your staff with a thorough understanding of this subject, allowing your staff to learn about:  

  • Identifying clients recruitment requirements
  • Pre-selecting candidates
  • Assessing candidates
  • Matching and present candidates to employers
  • Attracting potential candidates
  • Briefing and support candidates
  • Carrying out candidate debriefing
  • Administering recruitment processes
  • Developing working relationships with colleagues

This qualification can be studied at Level 3 and is appropriate for those new to or those with experience in the industry. It can be studied as either a standalone Vocational Qualification or as part of an Apprenticeship
